Dr. Christopher Bath is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College and has advanced his expertise by pursuing certifications beyond the core chiropractic curriculum. His credentials have included certifications in Active Release Technique (ART), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) protocols, Functional Movement Systems (FMS), ConnecTX, and Kinesiotaping. Additionally, Dr. Bath is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) as an expert in golf fitness programming and elite player development. His passion for competitive athletics is rooted in his three years as a collegiate basketball player.

Active Release Technique (ART) is a patented, cutting-edge soft tissue system and movement-based massage technique that addresses issues with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves. Dr. Bath received certifications in Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, Spine, Palpation, Nerve Entrapment, and a Masters certification in ART, making him highly skilled in treating a variety of overuse conditions.

The Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) is a movement-based diagnostic system, while Functional Movement Systems (FMS) serves as a screening tool to identify movement limitations or asymmetries.

ConnecTX is an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) therapeutic technique employed by physical therapists, chiropractors, and massage therapists to treat soft tissue dysfunctions. This method utilizes specialized tools, often made of stainless steel, to detect and address fascial restrictions, scar tissue, and adhesions within muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

The Kinesio Taping® Method is a rehabilitative taping technique designed to support the body’s natural healing process, providing stability to muscles and joints while preserving range of motion.

Dr. Bath’s TPI Medical Certification equips him with specialized knowledge of golf-specific injury assessment and rehabilitation techniques, enabling him to help golfers recover and return to the game. TPI’s extensive research into the Body-Swing Connection™ has equipped Dr. Bath with a deep understanding of the injuries associated with the golf swing, along with effective strategies for injury prevention and performance enhancement.

By combining these specialized techniques, Dr. Bath offers a comprehensive, individualized approach to patient care. His methods not only address biomechanical dysfunctions to treat injuries but also help athletes proactively prevent injury, enhance strength and mobility, and improve performance in their respective sports.
